COST FOR A VISA AND HOW TO PAY<\/strong><\/p>\n

Payment is made at the Embassy counter upon submitting the application<\/strong> and can be done via bank transfer to the current account IBAN: MN250004000404325288 at the time of submission<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The visa fee is non-refundable, except in the event of an incorrect collection by the counter operator.<\/p>\n

The amount to be paid for the visa in MNT is linked to the “Quarterly Consular Exchange Rate” and is subject to change at the end of each quarter.<\/p>\n

The amount in MNT is valid for the period from April 1, 2026, to June 30, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Citizens of countries with which the European Union has signed visa facilitation agreements:<\/strong> 35 EUR (payable in MNT). To check the list of these countries, please consult the European Commission website at the following page.<\/p>\n

Visa fees are not collected from applicants belonging to any of the following categories:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Minors under six years of age.<\/li>\n
  • School pupils, students, postgraduate students, and accompanying teachers undertaking stays for study or educational training purposes.<\/li>\n
  • Researchers from third countries traveling for scientific research purposes, as defined in Recommendation 2005\/761\/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 September 2005, aimed at facilitating the issue by Member States of uniform short-stay visas for researchers from third countries traveling within the Community for scientific research purposes.<\/li>\n
  • Representatives of non-profit organizations aged 25 or under participating in seminars, conferences, sports, cultural, or educational events organized by non-profit organizations.<\/li>\n
  • The following family members of EU\/EEA citizens, when accompanying or joining the EU\/EEA citizen, as identified by Directive 2004\/38\/EC and Legislative Decree 30\/2007:\n

    1. The spouse;<\/li>\n
    2. The partner who has contracted a registered partnership with the Union citizen on the basis of the legislation of a Member State, if the legislation of the host Member State treats registered partnerships as equivalent to marriage and in accordance with the conditions laid down in the relevant legislation of the host Member State;<\/li>\n
    3. Direct descendants under the age of 21 or dependants, as well as those of the spouse or partner;<\/li>\n
    4.
