The meeting with the Minister of Environment and Climate Change focused on cooperation between Italy and Mongolia in view of the 2026 Presidency of the UNCCD CoP in Ulaanbaatar, and in particular on combating climate change, biodiversity loss and desertification. On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations between Italy and Mongolia, the two countries will evaluate the launch of joint initiatives for environmental protection.
