On 19 November, at the Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs of Mongolia, Minister Hon. Enkhbayar received the Italian Ambassador.
During the meeting, Minister Enkhbayar emphasized that Ambassador Giovanna Piccarreta was the first to be received since the beginning of his mandate, and he expressed satisfaction with the steady growth of cooperation between the two countries, recalling the results of recent institutional visits. He reiterated his intention to continue in the same direction. He also highlighted the importance of further strengthening exchanges in the legal and security sectors, focusing on the sharing of experiences, the training of officials, and the enhancement of professional and technical skills.
Ambassador Piccarreta highlighted the genuine relationship of friendship that unites Mongolia and Italy, based on shared values such as democracy, multilateralism, and peace, as well as on a rich historical and cultural heritage. She also reaffirmed Italy’s full commitment to strengthening cooperation in the legal and internal affairs sectors.
Another step forward in strengthening a partnership that continues to evolve with mutual trust and friendship.
