A bilateral meeting was held at Villa Madama between the Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Tajani, and the Mongolian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Battsetseg, with the signing of several agreements that open up new opportunities in key sectors.
The meeting took place on the occasion of President Khurelsukh’s visit to Italy, during which he met with the President of the Republic and the President of the Chamber of Deputies. In addition to the adoption of the Joint Declaration on the Strategic Partnership (Link Joint Declaration on the Strategic Partnership )
the following agreements were signed at Villa Madama:
• 2026–2028 Cooperation Programme on education, culture, science and sport
• MoU between ICE–ITA and the National Chamber of Commerce of Mongolia
• MoU between SIMEST and the National Chamber of Commerce of Mongolia
• MoU between CDP and the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association
• MoU between Confartigianato and the Mongolian Association for SMEs
• Letters of Intent for cooperation between territorial entities, signed by: Municipality of Anacapri–Arkhangai Province, Municipality of Lovere–Arkhangai Province, Municipality of Magione–Uvurkhangai Province, Governors of the Provinces of Arkhangai and Uvurkhangai
• Letter of Intent for direct charter flights
• MoU between RAI and the Mongolian National Broadcaster
