Please be advised that from February 13, 2026, to February 18, 2026, the VIS (Visa Information System) will undergo a temporary operational shutdown.
This is a scheduled and urgent technical maintenance intervention. Consequently, the receipt and processing of visa applications, as well as the issuance of entry visas, will be temporarily suspended. This suspension applies to the operations of the Visa Office at the Embassy of Italy in Ulaanbaatar.
To minimize inconvenience to the public, appointments already scheduled during this timeframe will be rescheduled for the days immediately preceding or following the shutdown period. Priority will be given to urgent cases and essential travel needs.
