On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and Mongolia and the official launch of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Mongolia, this Embassy, together with the Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth H.E. Undram Chinbat and the Italian Cultural Institute, organized the concert of “Gran Duo Italiano”, featuring Mauro Tortorelli on the five-string grand violin and Angela Meluso on piano, in collaboration with the Opera and Ballet Theatre of Ulaanbaatar.
The performance was followed by a reception celebrating the culinary tradition of our Country, within the framework of the Italian Cuisine Week.
Guest of honor was the President of the “Italy-Mongolia Interparliamentary Friendship Group”, Hon. Nicola Care’ MP, together with his counterpart, Hon. Undraa MP.
The event was a celebratory moment of the strong ties between the two Countries, which share, among other things, a special interest in music and culinary traditions.
