On November 4, the first Ecological Hub of Mongolia was inaugurated in Ulaanbaatar, within the framework of the 3R4UB Project – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle – led by CNR-IRISS in collaboration with the Municipality of Ulaanbaatar and with the support of the European Union through the SWITCH-Asia programme.
From today, citizens of Ulaanbaatar will be able to bring their recyclable waste to the Hub and receive incentives offered by the Municipality: a concrete initiative that turns the principles of sustainability into daily action, directly engaging the community.
The Ambassador of Italy, Giovanna Piccarreta, took part in the event, highlighting the value of Italian research and innovation in contributing to a more sustainable future. The promotion of the green economy is a shared priority for both the EU and Italy.
