The website of the Embassy of Italy in Ulaanbaatar has been enhanced with a new assistance tool. The virtual assistant (“chatbot”) of our website is now active. This program simulates a chat conversation and, through a pre-established path of questions and answers, will be able to guide users towards the information they need.
The chatbot will be able to respond to a wide range of queries, particularly those pertaining to consular services and visas.
The application was presented on 8 February in Rome by the Secretary General of the Farnesina, Amb. Riccardo Guariglia, and then activated on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and on the websites of Italian diplomatic-consular offices abroad.
Ambassador Guariglia stated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not only deal with foreign policy in the strict sense. Indeed, it provides a comprehensive range of services to users at the Farnesina and in over 200 Italian diplomatic-consular offices worldwide. He also noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is one of the first Italian administrations to implement such a tool on a large scale, demonstrating a commitment to digital innovation and the quality of services rendered to users.
